When you're dreaming with a broken heart...
In my second year of university, In September, I woke up in the middle of the night..with this unbelievable image in my mind..of this girl from high school, dressed all in white, sitting on the bed next to me..
The waking up is the hardest part...You roll out of bed and onto your knees, and for a moment you can hardly breathe..
It was so real, i could feel the warmth of her next to me, the motion of the bed as she got up, and the light from the window as she walked away..
Wondering was she really here..is she standing in my room...
And getting up, looking for her, and not finding her there...was more painful than having to let go of her in the first place..
No she's not...cos she's gone..gone..gone..gone...Gone

I know the feeling all too well... there was this guy i went out with in high school - my first love (if that's not too corny). We broke it off not because we didn't like each other anymore or any of that stuff. There were just too many factors against us at that stage, and for a 16 yo it's just not worth it! For years after we broke up (and even now sometimes still) i had these dreams of us getting back together. he's gotten married in the meantime, i'm married, he got divorced... and still my heart aches...
