Casta Alma part one

This is a trackback to the post about my night when we painted the Baxter theatre Red ;)

Casta Alma is the name of a Cape Town band, playing a fusion of flamenco jazz.

Their band consists of two percussionists, two guitarists and a (very beautiful) lady playing the flute.

The music is absolutely stunning!! The rhythm is flawless, and is enough to get the whitest guy to dance (sorry, had to put that in there :P )

They have this interesting instrument called a peruvian box (or something like that) that creates the coolest percussive sounds. Ive never seen anything like it. It looks like a normal speaker box...but the sound it creates is just wow...
