..India..

Hey all :)
I have been back in the country for a while now, but for some reason I couldn't seem to get the India experience onto screen...the words didn't seem to do it justice.
Anyway, this is my lame attempt at explaining all that happened while in the sub-continent.
We flew from Cape town to Jo'burg on the 24th October..and before we even took off we missed our connection in Doha (the plane took off 2 hours later than it was meant to). This meant that while we were busy getting on board, our travel agent was busy trying to rectify the problem. She did get us another flight but this was 24 hours later, which meant a 24 hour stop in Doha.
Luckily though the airline covered the cost of accommodation and transit visas in Doha, so we ended up having a completely pampered time. And we even managed to catch up on some much needed sleep :)
We got to India (a day later) and very tired. But all in all happy. The customs process was relatively painless, and we got to the international arrivals area Very sleepy.
After waiting about an hour and a half we realised there was a problem..
Basically what had happened was the airline had first routed us via mumbai, and then changed it to a direct flight. This meant that we arrived at International arrivals instead of domestic arrivals...
Normally this isnt a problem except that the two are 20 minutes drive from each other.
Anyway to cut a long story short we high tailed to domestic arrivals, met up with our lift, got to our accomodation and slept for the next 8 hours :)
Right so thats how we got there :) Next installment will be on the country itself :)
